More eBay fraud. Fake Cristie's Voyager PADD
Seems like we have another attempt to defraud collectors by referencing the Christie's Auction. This eBay auction claims to be a screen used Voyager PADD, but no such lot was auctioned off at Christie's AND the guy doesn't take PayPal.
In addition, check out his feedback. 4 negatives in the last 6 months and people are claiming he is a crook!
STAY AWAY form this auction. This has all the red flags of someone trying to pass off a fake: no provenance, false claims, and no protection for buyers. Plus the negative feedback makes this guy a bad seller.
I have emailed the seller, and will keep you all posted.
Thanks to UK watchdog (and my favorite Picard look-alike) Giles Aston for his eagle eye pointing this out!
Alec
