The next blog you need to read!

http://johneaves.wordpress.com/

I am a HUGE fan of John Eaves. He is a brilliant concept artist and designed the Enterprise E and the Nemesis Valdor class Romulan Warbird, two of my favorite ships. His blog is amazing and a must read!

Rick Sternbach Auctions off Blueprints

Rick Sternbach, one of our favorite Star Trek illustrators, is selling off four of the master blueprints for Star Trek Voyager. These are big 24" x 36" blueprints on vellum. I love this stuff and think they are all well worth the price. You can find them here.

OK, I hate this design, but I know many of you love it.

The Voyager prototype.

Delta Flyer

I LOVE the Equinox as it looks like the same evolution as my beloved Enterprise "E"

One last chance at Star Trek Christie's Catalogs!

The Christie's Star Trek Catalog is still available from Andrew Rose, aka The Catalog Kid.

If you don't already own this two volume set, then what cave have you been living in????

This is THE starting place for any Star Trek Prop & Costume collector. Andrew is offering a very good price of $ 40, which includes the two catalogs, two of the tickets to the auction, and media mail shipping. A true steal!

Just mention that you read about it here.

A Blog you should be reading!

There is no doubt that the best Star Trek Blog on the Internet right now for us fans is Doug Drexler's Drex Files. Doug Drexler s an academy Award winning makeup artists for Dick Tracy, who went to work on Star Trek: The Next Generation and moved from make-up to Art Director.

His blog, which he updates daily (yeah I know, he puts me to shame) is a passion for Doug, who is trying to memorialize all the info he has stuffed in his considerable brain. This blog is a MUST READ for all you Trek prop & costume fans.

The Picard "First Contact" Monitor

I picked this prop up a couple of months ago and Brett Jones is now restoring it. He got it working today. If you have props that need repair, Brett is the guy to go to. He will charge you a reasonable hourly rate and the guy is a freaking artist!
