It's a Wrap eBay auctions - Week 62 Results

Week 62 Results

(58th week of IAW auctions)

While this is the 58th week of auctions, It is listed as Week 62 to be consistent with the Star Trek Auctions Archive.

Forum member Star Trek Prop, Costume & Auction Forum members dominated the top end of this week's auctions. If you aren't a member of the forum, you aren't in the know, so come and join!

The top costume of the week was the
TNG Geordi LaForge Uniform and Visor Lot at $ 4,055. This was his costume from Generations and so I like it a lot because it was the only time was saw Geordi in this style uniform. The costume came with the VISOR as well as a comm badge, rank pips and boots, which makes it complete. A costume like this is very desirable and the resulting price is often more than the pieces due to a perceived higher value.

We saw a similar costume without the VISOR go for $ 1,582 in week 21, putting the VISOR/comm badge/pips premium at about $ 2,500. For a rubber stunt VISOR I guess that is about right, as I have to think a hero VISOR is well over $ 5,000 itself. Overall a decent buy (I must say).

At $ 2,180, the Ezri Dax First Contact Style Starfleet Uniform went about where previous versions have. Lyn from the Star Trek Prop, Costume & Auction Forum won this and I know she was happy with her catch! These are great looking costumes that look awesome on display.

The Dr. Crusher Naval Uniform at $ 1,726 was a good deal for a beautiful costume. This was about where the previous Data stunt version went for. These are pretty nice costumes and a good price for a costume with so much detail.

The T'Pol costume from "A Night in Sickbay" went for a very reasonable $ 1,300. T'Pol costumes are expensive in general, so this was a great deal, even though it wasn't one of her regular jumpsuits, which all go over $ 3,000 minimum.

The Garak Stunt Costume was from "The Way of the Warrior" and also the costume used as the model for the Action figures! At $ 1,247 I think it was a tad high for a stunt costume, but not unreasonable as I think it is an important (though a bit loud!) Garak costume. Heck, Dave from the Forum outbid me on this one! The hero version went earlier this year for $ 4,250 (I was underbidder on that one too!).

I really liked (and again was outbid on) the TNG Starfleet Flag Officer's costume at $ 1,135. This one was a beauty and came with rank pins and a comm badge (though broken). A great deal on a great looking costume that will look awesome on display.

The TNG Dr. Soong Costume from "Inheritance" was cool and wound up in another Forum member's collection. At $ 1,081 it was about right for a Data fan.

The sixth Kirk Rock Climbing Costume was sold for a very reasonable $ 1,050. These have gone in various conditions for upwards of $ 3,600. One was even shill bid up to $ 2,900 (I am not saying by whom!) and then relisted 4 weeks later and sold for $ 1,680. At the closing price for this one of $ 1,050, I think it was a very good deal and the buyer should be pleased.

Finally, my good friend Chrissy from Australia scored the deal of the week when she stole the Insurrection/Nemesis Dress Uniform for $ 710! This was a crazy cheap price on a great costume. Way to go Chrissy!

As far as props go:

The Starfleet Style Desktop Computer was way over priced at $ 4,400. The photos were awful, and I have no idea why IAW didn't have a decent phot of the entire prop. If this was Picard's, it might be worth $ 5,000. But just a random one, is a $ 2,500 prop. How it got such a high price with such crappy photos is frankly beyond me!

The Enterprise E Turbolift controls went a bit high at $ 1,527. These
were nice, but small. One had a cool graphic of the bridge on it. I think these should have gone at half of what they did.

The Hero Reman Rifle went for a healthy $ 1,225, which I think is a good price for a hero light-up version. I own one of these and they are beautiful pieces.

Commander Tucker's Bulletin Board from his Quarters was a very nice piece with some great graphics. It came with more than was shown on the first photos, so if you spent the time reading through the description, you realized what a good lot this was.

The Voyager Briefing Room Chair went for a healthy $ 905, which I can;t argue with as these are nice chairs, and I would love to be able to use one for my desk at work!

THIS WEEK'S AWARDS:

Best Costume of the Week: The TNG Geordi LaForge Uniform and Visor Lot at $ 4,055.

Best Prop of the Week: Despite being way overpriced, the Starfleet Style Desktop Computer at $ 4,400 was the best prop.

The Insurrection/Nemesis Dress Uniform for $ 710 was a STEAL!

Alledged TOS Tricorder on ebay - Mark English replica?

Well, what is claimed to be an original TOS Tricorder is up for sale again on eBay. The item comes with no provenance and a questionable COA. The Tricorder appears to many who know TOS props to be a Mark English fake. Interestingly, the members over at The Trek Prop Zone, who are some of the most knowledgeable and scholarly TOS prop collectors, have unanimously stated that this is a Mark English fake.

For those of you who don't know, there was a chap in the 80's who made very good copies of TOS props, even went to the length of aging them to make them appear old, and sold them as real. His name was Mark English. Many Star Trek collectors were taken in, and still are. (The B&W Phaser in the Azarian Collection is most likely an ME fake).

Even the former owner of the current Tricorder claimed that the Tricorder is indeed a Mark English fake.

Now, it is not only that the vast majority of the Star Trek prop collecting population who are knowledgeable here state this is a replica, but most collectors' find the terms of sale questionable.

Jason DeBord, who authors the Original Prop Blog, stated the case against the way this item is being sold on the forum and on his blog:

1) A savvy original prop collector (which the seller clearly appears to be) would not likely list a five figure important and iconic prop such as this for sale on eBay - it makes no business sense. Such a piece would be consigned with a reputable auction house, and subsequently, be required to stand up to the further public scrutiny of the collecting world. A seasoned collector would take the time, energy, and expense to have it professionally authenticated by the top expert(s) in the field. The more solid provenance, the higher the market value. With a prop such as this, provenance is everything.

2) The marketing description in the auction is dense with text, information, and opinions, but when it comes down to it, all there seems to be in terms of provenance is a COA from a long defunct auctioneer. Most of the comments provided by the seller have no relevance to provenance and authenticity, and in many instances are distractions and misleading (namedropping other auction houses, talking about extensive research and reference materials, and references to other tools that are apparently not applicable or employed with regards to the prop actually offered).

3) No mention is made of the many fake TOS pieces in the marketplace, the unfortunate reality that an iconic piece such as a tricorder is more likely fake than authentic, and that such pieces have been falsely authenticated by prop dealers, experts, and even current and reputable auction houses.

4) The seller showcases the values realized for presumed authentic examples of such a piece at Profiles in History, yet the seller lists his on eBay for well below the true market value of a genuine piece - still a remarkable sum of money for any prop - yet it comes across as a sales tactic to induce a novice or casual collector into believing that they can buy this piece and consign it with Profiles and make a lot of money.

6) Citation of the Business Wire as well as the “Movie Poster Almanac” as authorities on the reputation of the seller’s source, Heather Holmberg Auctions, as an original prop expert, when those entities do not in my opinion have the capacity to do so.

7) The boilerplate, “As Is” sales policy borrowed in part directly from the Profiles in History catalog and amended gives a potential buyer no recourse in the event the piece is not authentic.

So my suggestion is to stay away from this Tricorder.

It's a Wrap eBay auctions - Week 61 Results

Week 61 Results

(57th week of IAW auctions)

While this is the 57th week of auctions, It is listed as Week 61 to be consistent with the Star Trek Auctions Archive.

Forum member Star Trek Prop, Costume & Auction Forum members dominated the top end of this week's auctions. If you aren't a member of the forum, you aren't in the know, so come and join!

The Voyager Captain Janeway Costume at $ 3,175 was a very good deal for a rare variant costume. Coming with a Comm Badge makes it even more reasonable. I would have guessed $ 4,000 on this. Any nice Captain's costume under $ 4,000 is a good buy and this was a nice one.

I also loved the Enterprise Ambassador Soval Robes at $ 2,025. These are a great example of the quality of costume we saw from Robert Blackman and his team.

The TOS Technician Fisher jumpsuit at $ 1,895 was interesting and a relist. Any TOS item is interesting to see pop up in these auctions.

The Xindi Reptilian costume at $ 1,797 was about right, but sadly had no boots. These are Reman costumes from Nemesis with the cage added. Cool costume and a decent price.

There has been a rise lately in Romulan Senator's robes and this week, the Nemesis style Romulan Senator robes went high again at $ 1,276. These robes were $ 500 for 6 months, and lately they have been going very high. This lot came with a TNG costume and a Romulan wig too, but those are throw ins.

The Travis Mayweather Arid Climate Uniform was a good deal and it came with both a rank pip as well as boots. These are nice costumes and at $ 1,180 priced right.

As far as props go:

Star Trek: TNG Enterprise D Shuttlebay Model at $ 3,050 seems quite high to me considering where other models have gone. The winner is a member of the Star Trek Prop, Costume & Auction Forum and a big model collector. I know he is quite pleased with his purchase, which is ultimately what is important, but I still think this model was quite high.

Star Trek: Voyager Hirogen Console at $ 2,445 was won by my buddy Dana. This was previously a Cardassian food replicator in DS9 and Dana wants to restore it back to that condition. I think this was a bit high for a console, but again, Dana was very happy!

The Enterprise Stunt Kir Shara Statue and Bag at $ 2,025 was also a relist, previously won by Maharanidiva, who left IAW with a bunch of unpaid items. Jordino, the winner, another Forum member, was the underbidder last time and this was relaly high on his want list. I think he got a good deal for an important Vulcan piece. Jordino is one of the top Vulcan collectors out there.

The Stellar Cartography PADD at $ 1,825 was an electronic version that Picard was using when Admiral Doherty came to visit in Insurrection. I think a fair price for a PADD that both worked and can be screen matched.

The Romulan Warbird Location Display Panel was a bit high I felt. LCARS are not rare and there are a ton of them, so these should be under $ 1,000 in my book. At $ 1,425 I felt this was way high.

The Nemesis style Type III Mark III Phaser Rifle is actually a Type 3c, but obviously IAW hasn't read my article on Phaser Rifles. At $ 1,325 and with a broken sight, I think this was about right. The sight can easily be fixed, and overall the rifle was in good condition, so a good buy here.

At $ 1,281, I think the Voyager rounded Borg Computer Interface was a tad bit high. Like the LCARS above, there are so many pieces like this around, you shouldn't b e paying high for any of these. Now, this wasn't a bad price, but I think buyers need to be really smart with so many months of auctions left. This is a nice piece though and will look cool in someone's home!

The Borg Neural Processor and Starfleet Phase Modulator are awesome props and I won the last set of these for over $ 1,700. At $ 1,252, this was a good deal for two great props from First Contact.

The Klingon Table Display from Blood Oath is a pretty cool and rather large. At $ 1,225 a good deal as it will make an amazing display on someone's all. You will have to get a backlight for it, but well worth it.

The Large Klingon Banner at $ 910 was pretty cool and went to Martin from Germany, who is building a new home for his massive Star Trek collection.

THIS WEEK'S AWARDS:

Best Costume of the Week: The Voyager Captain Janeway Costume at $ 3,175 was a beauty.

Best Prop of the Week: While slightly damaged, the Enterprise Stunt Kir Shara Statue and Bag at $ 2,025 was an important and very cool prop.

Best Buy of the week:
The Rear Admiral Norah Statie costume was worn by legendary actress Jean Simmons in the TNG epsiode "The Drumhead" which really is one of the very good, though not action packed TNG episodes. That makes this an important guest star costume and so I think my good friend from down under, Chrissy, got a great deal at only $ 315.

Worst Buy of the week: While I am tempted to give this to the Enterprise D Shuttlebay Model at $ 3,050, I think you can justify the price despite me thinking it high compared to where other models have gone. So none this week.

Sleeper of the Week: The Mayweather Starfleet Uniform - stunt was a great deal at only $ 535.

It's a Wrap eBay auctions - Week 60 Results

Week 60 Results

(56th week of IAW auctions)

While this is actually the 56th week of auctions, I am going to use the numbering system Burt came up with for his Star Trek Auctions Archive to keep consistent.

This was an interesting week. Some items went a bit high, but only 7 items sold over $ 1,000 and only one of them was a prop. So there were some good deals to be had.

The Star Trek: Enterprise T'Pol costume at $ 3,105 was a fair price for a nice T'Pol costume. Since Maharanidiva eliminated herself from this auctions, all things T'Pol and Vulcan have come down in price to reasonable levels. I like this costume and it was a good price for this one.

The Star Trek: TNG Lore Costume at $ 2,025 was interesting in that one like this just sold from Screen Used Props for just a little less. Very cool and quite memorable. A decent price I think.

The Star Trek: DS9 Dr. Bashir First Contact Style Uniform at $ 1,875 was a tad high, but not crazy. These are great costume and look awesome when you display them well.

I was surprised how high the Star Trek: Insurrection Picard Ba'ku civilian costume at $ 1,825 went for. Not a particularly interesting costume, it was about $ 500 more than I would have expected.

The Star Trek TNG Command Red Starfleet Uniform at $ 1,754 was a bit high, and of course that was due to a new bidder. A background costume like this should go around $ 1,200, and only then because they are a bit rarer than the later, collared versions.

The Hoshi Sato Starfleet Uniform at $ 1,730 was a fair price and about where these usually go. I think if you can afford a character costume, you get one. The difference between a character and a background costume seems to be about $ 500.

The Borg Drone Costume at $ 1,634 was a fair price, but as always, these costume worry me as they will deteriorate because of the way they were made. This is a nice one, that comes with boots, and went to a new bidder, who obviously doesn't read this blog!!

The distressed Commander Chakotay Starfleet Uniform at $ 900 was about right. This one looks pretty good and the buyer will get one that displays well I think. Some people like distressed costumes because you can actually screen match them and know they are screen-used.

The Feature Style Starfleet Special Services Jumpsuit was interesting as we rarely see this branch of service on these jumpsuits. At $ 723, a fair price as it came with boots as well (well...Puma sneakers!).

At $ 676, the Voyager Command Red Uniform went at a great price. There are a lot of bargains these days in the $ 600 range for background costumes, and I suggest you all take a look at adding one to your collections!

The Nemesis Data Stunt costume was a bit of a mystery as the undershirt is gold, but the sleeves have red bands. Not sure why this is, as both tags read them to be Data's stunt person. Still at $ 630, a great price.

The Harry Kim Stunt Costume was also a great deal at $ 611. I can't believe the prices these are going for!

As far as props go:

Star Trek: Enterprise NX-01 Button Panel Lot at $ 2,451 went high because of a new bidder as well. This was WAY too high a price for a bunch of panels, and so breaks the recent spel of me not giving out a worst buy of the week award. This should have gone at half this price. There weren't even an interesting selection.

At $ 760, the Vulcan Console from Carbon Creek was a nice piece at a great price.

The Borg Drone Remains at $ 749 were pretty cool and this gets my Prop of the Week.

The Matching Building Models are rather un-interesting but at $ 660 a decent price.

The House of Duras Knife at $ 610 was a bout right, though the buyer needs to screen match this. I won one of these and turned it down when the description didn't match the screen caps.

Overall, a weak selection of props this week!

THIS WEEK'S AWARDS:

Best Costume of the Week: The Star Trek: Enterprise T'Pol costume at $ 3,105 was a beauty.

Best Prop of the Week: The Borg Drone Remains at $ 749 were very cool!

Best Buy of the week:
The Harry Kim Stunt Costume at $ 611 was a steal!

Worst Buy of the week: The Star Trek: Enterprise NX-01 Button Panel Lot at $ 2,451 was WAY too high. New bidders need to learn the ropes and use Burt's Archive!

Sleeper of the Week: The Voyager Command Red Uniform at $ 676 was g reat deal! If you can get any background Starfleet Uniform costume under $ 700, you are doing well

HIGHEST PRICED ITEM THAT SOLD

Star Trek: Enterprise T'Pol costume at $ 3,105.

Star Trek: Enterprise NX-01 Button Panel Lot at $ 2,451.

Star Trek: TNG Lore Costume at $ 2,025.

Star Trek: DS9 Dr. Bashir First Contact Style Uniform at $ 1,875.

Star Trek: Insurrection Picard Ba'ku civilian costume at $ 1,825.

It's a Wrap eBay auctions - Week 59 Results

Week 59 Results

(55th week of IAW auctions)

While this is actually the 55th week of auctions, I am going to use the numbering system Burt came up with for his Star Trek Auctions Archive to keep consistent.

Well, after a crappy week of auctions the previous week, IAW came through with a great selection and 100 items! Moving back up to 100 items scares me, as we know IAW had problems managing that number of auctions before.

The Generations Captain Picard uniform went high at $ 7,500. I bought one like this (without the pips, comm badge and boots) in Week 21 for $ 4,050. Now, the pips were not Picard's, but two sets on lower ranking officer pips put together, and the boots were not identified as Picard's. So I think this was a $ 5,000 costume. Quite a bit of a premium there. But we are starting to see prices rise on Captain's costumes, so in that respect, we shouldn't be surprised moving forward to see these costumes going high.

The Admiral Kirk, San Francisco Apartment wear went about where it should at $ 4,550. My buddy won this and he spent a lot of time doing research on this and I know he was happy with his win. If you want a Kirk, you have to be willing to buy

The Star Trek IV Spock Whale Tank Costume at $ 2,927 was a popular item and certainly very memorable. Not out of line price wise. Will be a cool conversation piece on display.

The Lit. Ilia costume from ST: TMP went for $ 2,612. A bit high, as they weren't her pants, but certainly recognizable and a popular, if short lived character.

The Captain Janeway Klingon Costume at $ 2,280 was about right. Sadly it had no boots or breastplate, but still cool. The fact that it was used by Janeway would have made me think this would go higher. But a good deal at this price.

The Chakotay Civilian Costume went surprisingly strong at $ 1,691. I am not sure this was used in the pilot, as it had tags from the last season. Needs a little research there. Still surprised it went so high, as his Starfleet uniform went for less than this the previous week!

The Reman Warrior Costume went for a record low at $ 1,685. These are the nicest costumes I have ever seen from Start Trek and so this was a deal. If you buy one of these, you will never regret it.

Meanwhile my great Aussie friend Chrissy, went to the wall and set a record for Romulan Senator Robes at $ 1,525. The blue are very popular and so I don't expect the next set to go this high. But owning a set myself, I can say these were worth every penny.

The Data "First Contact" away team costume went for $ 1,524. I love First Contact and all the civilain costumes are very memorable. This came with boots and I think was a fair price.

The Insurrection Starfleet Dress Uniform at $ 1,287 was about right. These are nice, but I think they look best with Operations Gold.

The lot of 7 Feature Style Uniform Undershirt's went for $ $ 1,138.

As far as props go:

The Enterprise Starfleet Hand Scanner went for a reasonable $ 3,850 to a great collector who I know from Christie's (he won the Voyager and Enterprise C models there!). This was a beauty and gets Prop of the Week for sure. I would have loved to go to the wall for this, and at this price I think it is incredibly reasonable. I hope they have at least one more like this.

The Star Trek Movie Phaser Rifle at $ 3,239 set a record for a Phaser rifle and went to new bidder Alex from Hong Kong! I wanted this badly, but had backed off for a buddy and Alex just wanted it more. This one lights up so it is a prime piece.

The Starfleet Freestanding Power Console at $ 1,729 was a bit higher than I would have expected considering it will cost a lot to ship this one. You need some room also to display these, and those two factors contribute to these often going at a low price. But this one went strong.

The Son'a pistol (what the hell was up with the title of the auction...Son'a Isolytic Subspace??????) went for $ 1,325. A hero version, so not out of bounds, but still pretty strong.

The Romulan Trans-Lite Set Dressing sold for $ 1,314 for 4 panels to my buddy Jim. All these are nice, though they need to be back lit in order to really show them off.

Worf's Baldric Emblems went high at $ 1,127. For two emblems I feel this was a bit high, but not out of bounds for important pieces of Worf's Uniform. My friend Donna from the Star Trek Prop Forum won these (she is a big Worf fan).

The Reman Rifle went a bit higher than usual at $ 1,125, but these are beautiful guns. The rubber is very hard and they are really amazing in person. The paint job is amazing and so I think this was a reasonable price to pay.

THIS WEEK'S AWARDS:

Best Costume of the Week: The Generations Captain Picard uniform was high at $ 7,500, but still an important costume.

Best Prop of the Week: The Enterprise Starfleet Hand Scanner at $ 3,850 was a beauty!

Best Buy of the week:
The Engineer's White Radiological Suit at $ 709 was a steal.

Worst Buy of the week: None

Sleeper of the Week: The Vulcan Khitomer Attendee costume with boots was a great deal at $ 360!

HIGHEST PRICED ITEM THAT SOLD

Star Trek: Generations Generations Captain Picard uniform at $ 7,500.

Star Trek: TWOK Admiral Kirk, San Francisco Apartment wear at $ 4,550.

Star Trek: Enterprise Starfleet Hand Scanner at $ 3,850.

Star Trek Movie Phaser Rifle at $ 3,239.

Star Trek IV: Spock Whale Tank Costume at $ 2,927.

It's a Wrap eBay auctions - Week 57 Results

Week 57 Results

(54th week of IAW auctions)

While this is actually the 54th week of auctions, I am going to use the numbering system Burt came up with for his Star Trek Auctions Archive to keep consistent.

Wow, what a let down this past week was. Not a good selection at all and only 66 items. At least that gave some of us a breather! And while the selection was poor, the prices were down right cheap! We are certainly seeing the downward price pressure we have been discussing. It is getting harder and harder to impress us, especially with props.

The Enterprise Captain Archer Distressed Uniform at $ 2,245, was the top costume in a rather poor week of costumes. This was a bit high I think, but none the less, identifiable from the episode. This was especially high for a distressed uniform as previous ones have gone for $ 1,300-1,500.

The Star Trek: Voyager Neelx Costume (stunt) at $ 988 was a bit overpriced. As mentioned in my last blog post, I have a real issue with the way IAW is not noting the Stunt status in the title. Since IAW uses the Title for the COA, this costume could be marketed as a hero costume by simply removing the tags. Keep an eye on this one!

The Enterprise Tarkalean Borg from "Regeneration" costume at $ 965 was way overpriced. This just isn't that cool a background costume to go for this price.

At $ 798, the Dr. Bashir Holosuite Costume was a good deal for a pretty cool pilot's costume. This was one of the costumes Bashir and Miles would use when recreating the Battle of Britain in the Holosuite, and was won by a Pilot from the forum!

I really liked the Starfleet Command Security uniform. This had a distinct patch we haven't seen before and at $ 765, this was a VERY good deal. I almost bid on it, but I am spending WAY too much on these auctions! Uniforms like this, that are different and unique are worth the money when you get them this cheap.

The Enterprise Crewman Cutler Uniform at $ 688 was a bit distressed, but a good deal for a character costume. I liked the little enlisted patch on this one.

A nice complete Feature Film Vulcan costume went for $ 530 and it had boots, which we don't always see. These are all good values as Vulcan costumes have been very cheap lately.

Same goes for the Bajoran Milita costume at $ 515. A great deal for a complete costume!!

The 22nd Century Klingon Costume was also well priced at $ 455, though it had no boots. Still, these are very cool in person because of all the great fabrics they used.

As far as props go:

Well, I am the very proud owner of the light up Enterprise NX Beta Flight Control Panel, which closed at $ 2,147. Special thanks to Martin of Germany for backing off this item for me. I haven't bought any set dressing yet, and when this was listed, I immediately know I had to have it for my future home theater. What is great is that this one lights up!!!

This was the third time the TNG Travel Isolinear Storage Assembly was sold, so this was a two time relisted item. At $ 1,628 it was about where it was previously. A nice prop that will look great on display I think.

The Enterprise Starfleet Medical PADD was a great deal at $ 935. My buddy Dana (What is that, maybe the 35th time I have said that about Dana?) won this prop and got a great deal. I know he has been looking for one for a while and so at this price, he did very well.

I won the Enterprise Sickbay Set Dressing lot along with three of my buddies from the Star Trek Prop Forum. No one needs ALL of these, so we split the 16 item lot four ways. At $ 815, a cheap way to get a representation of stuff from Phlox's sickbay.

The Wilding Sickbay Table at $ 788 was a bit of a boring piece of set dressing. It didn't do it for me, but was reasonably priced.

The DS9 USS Valiant Technology Analyzer was interesting and at $ 745 a fair price. I think $ 750 is the price range for most decent props now, down from twice that 6 months ago. We all know there are a ton of props and you have to be smart about what you spend money on.

The Fictional Mobile Emitter from the Voyager episode "Author, Author" was pretty cool. That was a great Voyager episode and so this prop is pretty cool. Not bad at $ 739.

The Planetary Geology PADD at $ 688 was a good deal and we see the prices on PADDs falling. Despite being labeled "distressed" this was a nice one.

I really hated the Voyager "Modified Grenade Prop" as it was basically a WWII Pineapple grenade with a chip stuck on it. At $ 686 I think it was way overpriced. I mean, it doesn't even LOOK like it is from the future!

The Enterprise Vulcan PADD at $ 480 was a great deal as we don't see many of these. Forum regular Lyn won this and I know she was happy at the price!

I also thought my buddy Daryl got a great deal on the Enterprise Missle Warhead from "Future Tense". At $ 464 it is a good deal on a really intricate and beautifully detailed prop.

THIS WEEK'S AWARDS:

Best Costume of the Week: At $ 798, the Dr. Bashir Holosuite Costume was unique and interesting.

Best Prop of the Week: I have to give myself that award for the beautiful light up Enterprise NX Beta Flight Control Panel, at $ 2,147.

Best Buy of the week:
Yeah, I get this one too. The Enterprise Taret (actually Takret) Captain's costume at $315 was an absolute steal. It came with a holster and a hard rubber Vulcan pistol!

Worst Buy of the week: The Archer costume was way high, but I can't really give it a Worst Buy award, so this one doesn't get awarded this week.

Sleeper of the Week: The Enterprise Vulcan PADD at $ 480 was a steal for a rare PADD.
