It's a Wrap eBay auctions - Week 22 Preview

Week 22 Preview

Well, this week is why I think all those re-lists should have been saved to this week. The costume selection is really weak and the prop selection fair. I think we all need time to recover from the record week we just finished.

The Klingon Warrior Costume is the top costume so far and the only real standout this week. These have gone in the $ 1,800 range previously, but with it already being so high, this will probably go in the $ 2,500 range. Again, no boots.

The first Guinan costume was listed this week, and so it will be interesting to see where this one goes. It is only at $ 600, so I expect this to finish under $ 2,000.

The Major Kira Dress uniform is really beautiful and comes with boots. What great fabric and it also has the rank and comm badges. This could easily top $ 3,000 as Kira uniforms have b een commanding $ 3,500 prices.

The Miles O'Biren Distressed uniform is VERY cool in that the distressing is quite impressive. This is the First Contact style and the gold operations colors always look great with this type. This one will display really well and could be the centerpiece of a collection. O'Brien fans should look hard at this one (and their bank accounts) and be willing to fork over $ 1,500 minimum for this.

The Harry Kim Dress uniform is nice in that you don't see many of these. This should go in the $ 1,500-2,000 range. I own the Task Yar dress uniform, which is similar and I can tell you these are beauties. Throw a Comm Badge (from Federation Surplus of course) and this will display great!

The last Nog costume went for $ 1,691, and this one will go for about the same I would expect. It is the nice First Contact style Nog got when he became an ensign. I told you there were more. :-)

There is a nice Voyager style Reg Barclay costume that I think could be a sleeper. Reg was a great character in Voyager and I am sure there are fans of this character out there. This if teh first Barcaly we have seen. This is probably also the rarer style as he was mostly in the later episodes, when Starfleet had changed to the First Contact style uniform (though Voyager's crew still used the earlier ones).

The Noss costume from the Voyager episode "Gravity" is pretty cool and worn by Lori Petty in that episode. I think this is a great guest costume and should go at a reasonable price. It is complete with gloves and boots.

The Picard civilian costume from Family is a very cool Picard costume. It is only at $ 290 now, but this will go around $ 1,500 for sure. This is an important TNG episode and this costume is one of the better Picard civilian costumes.

The Twin Borg Boy costume is one used by the double for the twins from the Voyager episode "Collective". It is cool in that it is a partial body suit. The Azan one of these went previously for $ 1,358.

Finally, the Irina costume from the Voyager episode "Drive" is really beautiful. Great fabrics and colors make for a costume that will look great on display.

As far as props go:

The Voyager Starfleet Compression Phaser Rifle is the top prop, already at $ 1,275. It will certainly top $ 3,000 as it is a hero resin version. Now I think many of us agree that this is the ugliest Phaser rifle ever. But still, it is a Phaser Rifle, which have all gone over $ 2,300 so far.

The Grand Nagus Staff is pretty cool, though broken and missing the lower half. None the less, a great prop for all you Ferengi collectors! I have no idea where this will go, but I know a few people want it.

The DS9 Starfleet PADD is a nice version and lights up. These have been going about $1,300-1,800. This one is already at $ 665.

The Voyager Briefing Room Chair is nice and I wish I lived in LA so I could buy this and pick it up, but the thought of paying for shipping is daunting. Still, who wouldn't like to have a chair from Voyager in their office?

The Prop Borg arm is AMAZING and will certainly hit $ 1,500. Look at the detailing....very cool. I don't even collect Borg stuff, but this is still a piece that has huge appeal.

The Horga'hn Statuette is another piece everyones seems to know about and should do well. It is some kind of polystyrene, but the description actually denotes that this is the best one remaining, and I applaud IAW for including good info like that!

I like the rubber Mek'Leth, and I saw one of these at Burbank at the Star Trek convention and I liked it a ton. At $ 293, this will go in the $ 600-800 range and will look great on display.

The Yesterday's Enterprise Crewman Belt is very cool, but does anyone else find this photo confusing? It would go great with a costume from that episode, of which we have only seen the Tasha Yar at Christie's.

Finally, the Alternate Universe Comm Badge is really interesting. We haven't seen one of these before, and it will be interesting to see where this one goes. I like the way they incorporated the rank with the comm badge.

And make sure you check out the new Star Trek Prop, Costume and Auction Forums!

Good hunting!

It's a Wrap eBay auctions - Week 21 Results

Week 21

It's a Wrap set a sales record by a wide margin with a weekly gross of $124,287.25. It was a great week for costumes, and there were some high prices on mediocre star costumes.

The Star Trek: TMP Spock Class D uniform at $6,100.03 was the top costume of the week. There was no uniform insignia and no shoulder strips. This may have been because this jumpsuit was used at the end of the movie under their field jackets. You never see anything but the collar and legs of this uniform. So, for this to go so high I think is a bit much.

The Casual Kirk from the beginning of Star Trek II:TWOK was second highest. This went for $ 5,700 the last time it was on (It was relisted because of a fraudulent buyer). It went even higher this time at $ 6,100.

The Star Trek: TMP Dr. McCoy Class C Jacket Wrap went for a ridiculous $5,166.66 since it was never worn in the movie! Like many other Star Trek: TMP costumes, it was made and never used. And for that price you expect a screen-used costume.

The Admiral Kirk Class B is a great costume. I think it is the best costume Kirk wears in The Motion Picture. It doesn't have a chest insignia, but it does have a bio-monitor buckle and shoulder insignia. It sold for $ 4,905.

The
Star Trek VII: Generations Captain Picard Uniform at $4,050.03 was pretty much in line with other Captain's costumes which have sold in the $ 3-4,000 range. I won this and now have 4 of the 5 captain;s costumes, so I was pretty happy. This is the costume Picard wore while he battled Soran on Veridian III with Kirk at the end of Generations, so I think it is an important Picard costume.

T
he Worf costume went for a very healthy $ 4,000. Partly this is due to the presence of a comm badge and rank pips. Still, that is as much as this week's Picard!

The Star Trek V Kirk Climbing costume sold at Christie's for $ 3,000, but sold here for $ 3,650. It's a cool costume that is pretty important in Star Trek V.

The Klingon Costume that Neelix wore in the Star Trek: Voyager Episode "The Killing Game" is another re-list that went for $ 3,650. The strongest Klingon costume so far, it came in a week when we also saw the Gorkon from Star Trek VI sell for $ 3,250, so it was a big week for Klingons!

The Spock Sickbay Costume at $ 2,9820 was a shocker. Yes, it is a key scene in ST: TMP, but still, it isn't a Starfleet uniform, so I think it is a bit much.

The Riker went for a very strong $2,820. This is the black and gray version from Star Trek Nemesis. I good buy I think as there wasn't one of these at Christie's.

At $ 2,816, the Scotty Class D was a bit high for a costume with no insignia or shoulder strips.

The Willard Decker though went for $ 2,750, which wasn't bad. It just was missing the wrist rank stripes.

The Commando Spock went for $ 2,550 which was a steal! This is an important costume and used through most of Star Trek V. I can't believe it went so low.

The Uhura distressed Class B from ST: TMP was WAY overpriced at $ 2,469. It looks pretty bad and is incomplete. I am really surprised where this went.

The TMP Off Duty Tunic is like the one Ilia wore, but not hers. It went for $ 2,227, which I think is strong for a non-character costume. The last time one of these was on it went fro $ 3,000.

The Tuvok Maroon Officer costume went for a modest $ 2,215. I think this was a great deal, even though the jacket isn't Tim Russ's. These are iconic costumes and the last two have gone in the $ 2,800 range.

Here are some other costume prices realized:

Star Trek: Insurrection
Data's underwater costume $ 1,927
Reasonable Price for a nice costume with good screen time.

Star Trek: First Contact Borg costume $ 1,925
Borg costume prices dropped a bit. last one went for $ 2,200.

Star Trek V Captain Kirk Commando Stunt costume $ 1,923
A great deal on a Kirk! (Even though it is not a Shatner)

Star Trek: TNG
Starfleet Admiral costume $ 1,801
Strong price for a costume that has gone under $ 1,000 previously.

Star Trek III
Star Trek III Security armor $ 1,591
Almost same price as last time. Great costume!

Star Trek: Generations
Geordi LaForge costume $ 1,582
Very reasonable price

Star Trek: TMP
white radiological suit $ 1,575
About right for a nice costume

Star Trek: TMP Dr. Chapel Sickbay Uniform $ 1,454
Not correct, but fair price.

Star Trek: TMP
Ilia Starfleet uniform $ 1,315
Same type as the McCoy that went for $ 5,166

Star Trek: TMP David Marcus top $ 1,254
Iconic costume. Good price!

Star Trek: Nemesis Starfleet Jumpsuit $ 1,225
People LOVE these operations gold ones!

Star Trek: Insurrection Anij Costume $ 1,030
Good price on main character costume

Star Trek: TMP Chekov Class B Uniform Shirt $ 1,010
The shirt Chekov wore when he got burned.

As far as Props go:

The Type III Mk 2 Phaser rifle went for a reasonable $ 2,600. First one of these we have seen.

The Nemesis style Phaser Rifle went for $ 2,325, which is inline with previous sales.

The Kolaran cannon was a surprise at $ 1,225. I am kind of surprised this went so high, but everyone has different tastes!

The Klingon Bat'leth went for a reasonable $ 910; close to what previous ones have gone for.

I think I got a great deal as I won the Reman Rifle at $ 888. These are pretty nice as I saw one in person at the Burbank Star Trek convention last month. There IAW wanted $ 1,500, so I am pleased.

The fifth Klingon mask we have seen so far went for $ 812. So the prices are coming down on these .

Amazingly, the small black and amber Vulcan Jewelry went for $ 800! Way high for a simple piece that has no recognizable value.

The Borg Skull went for $ 710. Ths was not the one from the end of Star Trek: First contact, as this simply does not match up, but may have been made for that scene as it is similar, just teh wrong materials.

Finally, the
Kolaran bust went for $ 510, which I think was a good deal. It is quite beautiful, and already mounted. Still, I suggest contacting Tom Spina and getting this preserved.

THIS WEEK'S AWARDS:

Best Costume of the Week: The Star Trek: TMP Admiral Kirk Class B Uniform is my favorite Kirk from TMP and I think this was the class of the week.

Best Prop of the Week: The Type 3, Mark 2 Phaser Rifle is a beauty, and I just lost out on this. (My buddy has one he is willing to trade, so I didn't want to go too high). Not as cool as the Mark 3, but still very cool!

Best Buy of the week: The Spock Commando Costume at $ 2,550 is a STEAL! An important Spock at this price is amazing.

Worst Buy of the week: The Star Trek: TMP Dr. McCoy Class C Jacket Wrap Way high for a costume never used on-screen.

Sleeper of the Week: The Regula Scientist "Jedda" costume is a beauty and very recognizable. A steal at $ 687.

It's a Wrap eBay auctions - Week 21 Preview Part 3

Week 21 Preview - The Props

OK, so let's review the props available this week. I don't think there will be any bargains as the great selection of costumes won't really impact the prop sales. Seems like prop and costume collectors are often separate groups. and there isn't a huge selection of props, though the quality is strong.

The Type III Mk 2 Phaser rifle is nice, and we haven't seen this type before. They seem to be less desirable than the Mk 3 because the barrel simply looks better on the Mk 3. None the less, there are simply fewer of these around. I see this in the $ 2,500 range.

The Nemesis style Phaser Rifle is almost identical to the Type III Mk 3 except for the different scope. I just bought one just like this from IAW at the Burbank show and paid $ 2,000. the last one of these on eBay from IAW went for $ 2,370.

The Klingon Bat'leth looks like one that was up before (unless they are just using the same photo). It is rubber, and has one end a bit distressed. Still, these have been going around $ 1,000 consistantly.
The Star Trek III Accelerated Growth Microorganism is pretty damn cool, and amazingly in great shape for a 25 year old latex prop. At $ 380, I see this in the $ 600 range. I don't like the way these look over time, but still pretty neat.
The pair of Genesis Planet Microorganisms is also cool. Currently at $ 255, this should go well under $ 1,000 and there are two of them! Get with a buddy and split this lot and have a great piece of Star Trek history!

This is the fifth Klingon mask to come up. The first two went just under $ 600, while the third spiked up to $ 1,500. The fourth one went around $ 1,000. So i think this, especially in a crowded week, goes under $ 1,000 and probably around $ 600-700.
The Kolaran bust is a beauty. Maybe a paint study as the latex appliance is affixed to the form underneath. This will look great in any collection, just make sure you get it preserved so it doesn't deteriorate.

The New Borg Queen head mold is questionable in that I don't think it is Alice Krige who played the Borg queen in First Contact and in the two part Voyager finale "Endgame". Rather I think this belongs to the actress who played the Borg Queen in between. That is why it says "New Borg Queen". Not just "Borg Queen". Also, it doesn't look like Alice Krige.

The Borg Skull is NOT the one from the end of Star Trek: First contact, as this simply does not match up. Do your own research. There are some similarities, but it is very different. I don't know where this is used, but it isn't what you first would think.

The Romulan PADD is really nice. These have been going in the $ 800-1,000 range, and I would expect the same here. I think we will continue to see lots of PADDs as there were so many of these from every race in the Star Trek Universe.

The Insurrection Son'A hand pistol is only at $ 76 now and I am not sure why it is so low. yeah, it is made of rubber, but this should go for $ 400 or more when all is said and done.

The Star Trek: The Motion Picture Betelgeusian mask is pretty cool and in remarkably good shape for being so old. It is pretty cheap now, and should go for $ 400-500.

Finally, there are four sets of uniforms shoulder department insignia, which will probably go around $ 50 each. These are good for completing costumes. There are also name badges for Star Trek movie jumpsuits and these should go in the $ 50 range as well.

Well, that is all for the previews. I know a lot of us are pretty fired up about this week, and I hope I am not broke after Friday!

Good hunting!

It's a Wrap eBay auctions - Week 21 Preview Part 2

Week 21 Preview - The Movie Costumes

After reviewing and reviewing the auctions this week, I really am floored by how HUGE this week is! I mean TONS of great costumes. And with 5 awesome costumes being re-listed, it makes a good week even stronger.

That means there will be BARGAINS. Seriously, how many great costumes can the eBay bidding population suck up in one week? Heck, I am still reeling from my last 3 weeks of purchases, and would certainly be bidding on more if I hadn't just dropped a crazy amount of money. This week is DEEP with great ST: TMP costumes and there is certainly something for everyone. Look at the sheer quantity of costumes
currently under $ 700 that are beautiful and important.

So lets start the preview:

The Star Trek: TMP Spock Class D uniform is currently the high costume from the Motion Picture group (not including the re-lists). No uniform insignia and no shoulder, but that may well be because this jumpsuit was used at the end of the movie under their field jackets. You never see anything but the collar and legs of this uniform. None the less, it is a Spock and should go between $ 2,000 and $ 3,000.

The Tuvok Flashback Maroon costume is a bit thrown together. The jacket actually isn't Tuvok's. I know that the IAW folk have been working hard to assemble these, and I guess they just couldn't find the actual jacket. None the less, this is pretty complete, so should go near $ 3,000 like the other two of these that have sold from IAW have done.

The Chancellor Gorkon Klingon costume is a real beauty! Too bad there are no boots, but a great costume none the less. I really like this movie and I think there are a bunch of good costumes to come from it. This one is at $ 1,225 and I see it going between $ 1,800 and $2,200, but that is just a guess. It may go higher because it is a rare Klingon.

The Admiral Kirk Class B uniform is pretty popular it seems. It doesn't have a chest insignia, but it does have a bio-monitor buckle and shoulder insignia. This is a great costume and my favorite Kirk outside his Admiral Dress Uniform. It is only at $ 973 now, but I see this close to $ 3,000.

The Star Trek V Kirk Climbing costume sold at Christie's as well. It was lot # 854 and went for $ 3,000. This one won't go that high. It is only at $ 930 now, and should end around $ 2,000 if I get my Kirk's right. I like this one as it is pretty complete and very recognizable.

The Ilia Starfleet uniform is a beautiful costume, but it was never used on-screen like a bunch of this week's costumes. It is at $ 810 and I think this will look great on display. This will probably go around $ 1,500 - 1,800 and is a good deal as long as you don't mind that it wasn't used on-screen.

The Star Trek III Security armor is an awesome piece. The last one went for $ 1,533 and I think this one will go a bit higher. I wish it had boots though.

The white radiological suit is a beauty and has everything but the boots (where are all the boots?). It is only at $ 610 and I think this could go close to $ 1,500. any less than that is a steal.

The Star Trek: TMP Willard Decker costume is a great one. Don't be fooled by the separated bio-monitor buckle, this is complete. At $ 510 now, this will go between $ 1,300 and $ 1,500.

The Khan's henchman costume is interesting as we haven't seen these before. Unfortunately there are no pants. And I know Khan's guys didn't run around in shorts! No clue on the value of this, but its is at $ 449 now.

The Dr. Chapel costume is one of those that you need to check to make sure that the uniform is correct. I haven't checked Trekcore, but one of my buddies questioned it as it is.

I really like the Dr. McCoy Class C Jacket Wrap. Now it wasn't used in the movie, but is a beautiful and will look great on display. It amazes me how cheap it is right now, but it should go around $ 1,500 if history holds.

NOW HERE ARE SOME POTENTIAL GREAT BARGAINS:

The Starfleet Services Technician is a funny costume but also pretty nice. This is the guy using the "vacuum" device outside the Kobayashi Maru simulator in ST II:TWOK when Kirk and Spock pass by. This has some great detailing and some obvious kit bashing. It has boots and a helmet and I think it goes under $ 1,000.

The Star Trek II:TWOK Regula 1 Scientist costume is pretty nice. These costumes are very recognizable and will look great on display because of their color. They also have great detailing on the ID Badges. At $ 380, this will go cheap, probably under $ 1,000.

The Spock Sickbay costume is unique and a potential steal as it isn't getting much attention at $ 368. You want a Spock costume, from an important scene at a great price? Bid here.

Not sure where the Scotty Class D was used in Star Trek: TMP. It has no rank or chest insignia, so it will go cheap. It is currently at $ 305 and is a good value at anything under $ 800. It is after all a Scotty!

There is also a great Spock stunt outfit from the Star Trek V Camping Scene. This is sure to go cheap and is very recognizable.

Finally, the Special Services costume is a great piece. I bought the last one and they look great on display. It was used in Star Trek III & IV.

I strongly urge you to look at the bottom half of these costumes for some great potential deals. This is an incredibly strong week, and for those of you who have been asking for a main character costume, this is your chance to get one.

Tomorrow I review the rest.

Good hunting!

It's a Wrap eBay auctions - Week 21 Preview Part 1

Week 21 Preview Part 1

WOW! After a few really mediocre weeks of auctions, this week is probably the best we have seen so far. A ton of movie costumes from ST: TMP and important character costumes from Worf, Picard, Riker and Data, as well as re-listed costumes where the sale never closed between the buyer and IAW.

In addition, there are 125 lots this week rather than the usual 100. It's a Wrap has said they are trying to get more auctions listed every week, and so we shall see how, if at all, this affects prices.

With so much stuff to review, I am breaking this week's previews up into three posts. First I will deal with the re-listed costumes from previous weeks and the Next Gen costumes, then tomorrow I will preview the Star Trek: The Motion Picture costumes, and finally, the day after, everything else.

The first costumes of note are the four costumes that were sold on April 13th to a fraudulent bidder. Don't you hate these idiots who abuse the system? Well, this guy actually had NEGATIVE feedback and so we all knew these costumes would come up again.

The first is the Casual Kirk from the beginning of Star Trek II:TWOK. This one went for $ 5,700 last time, but it is only at $ 2,000 so far. This one should go over $ 4,000 at least as it is an important costume from the best Trek movie ever.

The second is the Commando Spock which went for $ 4,292. A pretty sharp costume, this one should do well again.

PAY ATTENTION TO THESE TWO. I think there might be a good value with these. The Kirk under $ 5,000 or the Spock under $ 4,000 are good deals.

The third costume to be re-listed is the Captain Kirk Commando Stunt costume is a beauty. If you want a Kirk and don't care that Shatner didn't wear this, then this one could be a good deal. Especially with all the great costumes this week, this will be a good week to find bargains.

Finally, the Klingon Costume that Neelix wore in the Star Trek: Voyager Episode "The Killing Game" is up again for sale again. Now this is a great costume because not only is it a highly sought after Klingon costume, but it was used by a main character. It went for $4,217 last time, so I think this will go at least $3,500 this time around.

These are great costumes, but it should be very interesting to see where they go this time, without the fraudulent bidder budding things up. This might actually work to It's a Wrap's advantage as the new bidders who have come in might bid these up. on the other hand, there are so many great costumes this week, they might go cheap.

The next re-list is the "James Doohan" shirt which actually was worn by his son in Star Trek: The Motion Picture. You can check back in April for the articles I wrote with the help of information from a couple readers on how this wasn't James Doohan's shirt. It was actually worn by his son Chris in Star Trek: The Motion Picture, where he and his brother Montgomery were background actors. The costume was obviously tagged with James Doohan's name so the costumer would bring it to Doohan, as his sons were certainly not treated just like any other extra. I actually spoke to the winner who wound up turning down buying the costume. My understanding is that Doohan's son actually bid on this, so I hope he bids on it again. I actually suggested to IAW that they just sell it directly to him. Oh well!

OK, so what are the great new costumes this week? Well, let's start off with all the Next Generation costumes at the top of the bidding. The Worf costume is by far getting the most interest right now. At $2,800 it is this high because it has both rank pips AND a communicator and we haven't seen this before. That makes this costume more complete than any other we have seen. This will go well over $3,000 I think.

Then is the Riker at $2,250. This is the black and gray version from Star Trek Nemesis. These are very desirable costumes because they are really beautiful. I own Sisko's and I can tell you these are gorgeous. This is a jumpsuit and comes with the undershirt.

The Picard however, is the less desirable "Voyager" style from Star Trek Generations, and this is why it is going less than the Riker. Still, it is a Picard and will go around $3,000 - 3,500 where the other captain's costumes do.

There is also Data's underwater costume from Star Trek: Insurrection. This is cool because it is assignable to a specific scene in a specific movie. This is kind of low now, but i am sure this will top $ 2,000 (unless people are worried it won't display well because of water damage, which is not apparent).

There is also a Geordi LaForge costume from "Generations". These Operations Gold costumes always look good because of the contrast of the black with the gold. The fact that a Black and Gold FIrst Contact style background costume is currently higher than the Data or LaForge should tell you something! It's only at $ 515 now so this might go cheap! I could easily see this going under $ 1,500 and at that price it would be a steal.

The Borg costume at $ 1,225 is pretty nice. These are entirely made of latex, so you have to deal with the deterioration issues, but these have been going in the $ 2,300 range and a good deal because they are so iconic. Everyone knows the Borg! This comes with boots too.

I am not sure if the Starfleet Admiral costume is a re-list, as this looks like the one that went a couple of week's ago. Either way, these are interesting costumes, though I really don't like them in comparison with later Admiral's costumes. This is at $ 660 and this could get lost in the plethora of great costumes this week.

There is a nice black and gold jumpsuit worn by
“Lieutenant Farrell” (Dendrie Taylor), who we saw in the TNG episode "Phantasms" and again in Generations where she assisted Geordi in engineering and with the evacuation of children when the saucer was being seperated. Check out this character's info at Memory Alpha. If you are looking for one of these, this is a good place to get a deal.

The "Dr. Soran" costume is pretty sharp as well, and a significant piece! It is only at $ 227.50 right now and should go under $ 1,000, and if you are lucky, maybe even around $ 600-800.

I also love the Nemesis Starfleet Band Uniform from the wedding scene! Pretty cool. If you are a musician, this is for you! At $ 202, I think this will go cheap, and will be a great piece for someone on a budget.

I should also point out the Insurrection Son'a Officer uniform which is CHEAP at $ 127. Not that it comes with a second jumpsuit as well as boots, a head piece and gloves. This is a sleeper for sure!

Tomorrow I will tackle the huge number of Star Trek: The Motion Picture costumes up for auction!

Alec

It's a Wrap eBay auctions - Week 20 Results

Week 20

Did an obscure prop really sell for $ 20,211.99? That is the big question this week, as the Enterprise Vulcan Medial Artwork sold for that price. Now the buyer only has an 8 feedback rating, so it remains to be seen if this was a legitimate sale, or if two guys were just screwing around on eBay. And since eBay instituted their insane policy of not revealing bidder IDs, we don't know who the under bidder was.

It wasn't a big week for good uniforms. There were actually very few character costumes, though some decent depth.

The top was the Enterprise Admiral's uniform which sold for $ 1,525. This is a fair price and in line with what Enterprise costumes like this are going for. It is a nice piece and my friend Grant won it and I know he is quite pleased. Don't worry if you missed this one as there are more to come. As I mentioned in my preview, I have identified at least 5 such uniforms used at any given time on Trekcore.com.

The Captain Archer distressed uniform was a steal at $ 1,293 and gets my Best Buy of the Week. I mentioned in my preview that this might wind up a great deal, and it certainly was.

The Terran Empire uniform from Enterprise went for $ 1,203 to me! I have wanted one of these for a while and my aforementioned buddy Grant told me that his was beautiful. I am pretty fired up to get this and I think it went just where it should based on the two most recent sales of these at $ 1,200 and $ 1,000.

The Enterprise Starfleet Uniform jumpsuit that was Sciences blue, sold for $ 1,101, while the female Engineering red sold or $ 1,080. I think both of these are reasonable for background costumes, though I like them more in the $ 800-900 range. None the less, these
buyers won't be disappointed.

The Enterprise Klingon Warrior costume went for $ 1,027. That is a pretty good deal. These may not be the iconic uniforms that we all want, but these are nice none the less. Whenever you can get a nice costume with some meaning for $ 1,000 that us a good deal. Previous ones have gone for $ 975 and $ 1,175, so this one went right where it should.

The Suliban Cabal Jumpsuit went cheap as I predicted. $ 412 is an insanely low price for a main guest star costume. yes, there is a lot of latex in these, but none the less, what a deal!

As far as props go:

The Enterprise Tricorder/hand scanner set a prop record at $ 8,119.99!! It was a beauty, but every collector I talked to felt that was a crazy price. It won't keep that value if ever sold again, but someone got what they wanted, which is what is important.

The Starfleet Scientific Case sold for $ 2,213, which I think is crazy for a plastic case with some Star Trek stickers on it. We have seen these before, and we may see more of these. They have also gone high in the past.

The "Field Rate 2 PADD" from Enterprise was the second of the big size ones from Enterprise. it went for $ 1,225, which is reasonable. Having won the other one of these, I can say they are well worth it, as it is a beautiful prop.

The Electronic Alien Panels were a shocker at $ 1,225. What makes these go for this price, but the Xindi ones go way less? No clue here.

The Enterprise Phase Pistol also went for $ 1,225. That was pretty reasonable for an important prop, even if rubber.

The Enterprise Duty Roster Pad went for $ 1,132 which was quite reasonable. It lights up and is a rare version of the PADDs used on Enterprise.

Both Trip Tucker's Bulletin Board and the Enterprise Prop Camera went for $ 1,085. I like the Bulletin Board better as it has a bunch of the film's for the PADDs.

I won the Enterprise Universal Translator for $ 911, which I think was a good deal. Now all I need is a communicator to pop in the top of this.

The Voyager Plasma Charge went for $ 905. That seems like a lot, but it does light up. This is a very cool prop and we should see more of these, as they had a bunch in Voyager.

The Enterprise Klingon Disruptor Pistol and Holster didn't go for more than the $ 900 it was at mid-week. Not a bad price for an important weapon prop, even though it is rubber. It comes with a holster, which is a nice addition.

The Vulcan Energy Pistol went for $ 830. This is a resin one and came with a holster and I think this was a pretty good deal.

We've seen the Enterprise Energy Carbine before, and this rubber one went for $ 810.

The Xindi Repitilian Face Application is beautiful but went for a pretty high $ 786. This is, after all, latex, and you need to make sure you preserve this, or put it in an air-tight display and out of the sunlight.

Finally, one of my favorite props was
the Dr. Phlox Denobulan Medicine Chest, which went for $ 689. This has some real character, and I got outbid on it! Congrats to the winner!

Best Costume of the Week: The Enterprise Admiral's uniform which sold for $ 1,525 was the best of a weak selection.

Best Prop of the Week: The Enterprise Tricorder/hand scanner at $ 8,119.99 was certainly expensive, but definetly the best prop.

Best Buy of the week: The Captain Archer distressed uniform was a steal at $ 1,293.

Worst Buy of the week: Do I even have to say it? The Vulcan Medical Art at $ 20,212
